Techniciansin, technical designerin, industrial mechanicin, machining mechanicin or the like

Rheinberg | temporary employment | Full time (35 hours/week) As a technical contract developer*in you take over the independent processing of projects and products from the field of our standard products – with a high degree of standardization and clearly defined processes. You are the coordinating interface between technical requirements, internal departments and customer-related requirements. You keep an overview: You work according to defined time and cost schedule, monitor compliance and report structuredly to your disciplinary supervisor. You carefully check: you analyze sales and customer specifications regarding technical and timely feasibility and thus ensure smooth order implementation. You design precise: You create customised adaptations as well as variant designs and perform technical calculations with elemental formulas – for example for volumes, weights, leverages or material utilization. You know the processes: Thanks to sound knowledge of all workflows in order processing and their interfaces to the technical office, you control processes effectively and solution-oriented. You provide reliable support: You provide technical support for sales, service and purchasing and, after appropriate incorporation, take over further tasks in the technical office, such as documentation, technical services or the input of piece lists into customer-specific systems. You pass on knowledge: You regularly take over the guidance of trainees and interns and actively contribute to the professional development in the team.

You bring the foundation with: A completed training as a technician is absolutely necessary. You have practical knowledge: training as a technical product designerin, industrial mechanicin, machining mechanicin o. a.; first professional experience in a comparable position – e.g. as a contract developerin or constructor*in – is advantageous. You are a software partner: You have good CAD knowledge (AutoCAD, Inventor) as well as good MS Office and ERP/PLM knowledge. You know the industry: know-how in mechanical engineering, steel construction or in bulk material and conveying technology is desirable. You communicate safely: you speak German for negotiation and English fluent; Other languages are a plus. You work structuredly: a high technical conception and a structured and responsible way of working are what you distinguish. You're packing: A pronounced hand-on mentality completes your profile.
