In this position, you are responsible for the design, development and support of embedded systems for battery management systems of modern power tools. You accompany the products over all development phases up to series maturity. You also develop, implement and optimize firmware for microcontrollers in the BMS environment and ensure a stable, efficient and secure system function. Their tasks also include the design of analogue and digital circuits as well as the development and optimization of circuit board layouts including technical reviews. An essential part of your activity is the integration, implementation and validation of safety-relevant functions in the battery management system. In addition, perform tests, validations and comprehensive debugging measures at hardware and software levels. In addition, You support certification and approval processes and ensure compliance with all relevant standards, guidelines and legal requirements.

You bring a successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable technical discipline. Your extensive knowledge includes the development of embedded systems and microcontroller programming with C/C++ (e.g. on PIC or ARM Cortex M platforms). Multiannual practical experience in circuit design and in the development of printed circuit boards. Ideally, you also have knowledge of Pulsonix. You preferably have a deeper understanding of battery technologies such as lithium ions or lithium polymers, as well as basic knowledge of battery management systems. Personally, you are convinced by analytical thinking, a structured and solution-oriented way of working and by very good communication skills in German (- C1) and English (- B2).
