Project Engineer for Building Services Engineering

THE ROLE AND THE TEAM We are now looking for a project engineer*in for our building technology. In this role, you are responsible for the operational management of your department as well as the professional and disciplinary management of your employees. Together with your team leaders, you are looking for smooth processes in your area. Your work is characterized by a motivating team spirit based on appreciation, respect and openness. Together with your team, you are working on the achievement of day-to-day operational targets as well as improving processes. Project management & implementation: Tax reconstruction and extension projects in the field of building technology from budgeting to final implementation. Coordination & Communication: Vote with internal specialist departments, external service providers and suppliers to realize efficient solutions.

Technical Analysis & Optimization: Use monitoring instruments to analyze technical systems and drive improvements ahead.

Standardization & Documentation: Develop and document technical standards, instructions and best practices for long-term operation.

Support & Collaboration: Share your expertise, support your team and actively contribute to the development of energy management and building management systems.

Technical know-how & experience: You have completed technical training, ideally in building or utility technology, and first experience in project management. Communication & Stakeholder Management: You are safe in coordination with internal and external partners and can communicate technical issues in a comprehensible manner.

Analytical thinking & problem solution: You can evaluate technical systems, identify optimization potentials and develop sustainable solutions.

Teamability & own initiative: You like to work with others, take responsibility and actively contribute to the further development of processes.

Language skills: You have good knowledge of German and English to share with international stakeholders.

LOCATION: Lahr Our logistics staff ensure that more than 50 million customers in 25 European markets receive smooth and reliable service every day. Zalando today has a growing European logistics network with currently twelve locations in seven countries. In Germany alone, thousands of employees from over 100 nations work at several Zalando logistics locations. The logistics centre in Lahr im Schwarzwald is the youngest of our German locations. The building with an area of 130,000 square meters sets new standards for the industry and combines a new generation of infrastructure with intelligent thinking and a great team combination. We sent our first package from the Black Forest site in 2016 and offer jobs for around 2,500 colleagues.
