With the funding of DFG, BMBF, EU and Innovation Fund, our clinic conducts methodological and application-oriented research in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy with focus on ongoing body complaints, functional and somatoform disorders, mental disorders in somatic disorders and eating disorders. In addition, as part of the Centre for Internal Medicine, we provide patients with psychosomatic diseases in an outpatient, consiliatric, semi-stationary and stationary manner. There are excellent possibilities for habilitation as well as excellent possibilities for further development in the areas of patient care and teaching. The qualification for further training in the field of “psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy” is available. A postdoctoral position is to be awarded in the research area of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy.
