Conception, construction and continuous development of geoinformation systems for server, desktop, web and mobile applications. Participation in building and further developing the geodata infrastructure as well as technical support for the entire geodata management – from data collection to quality assurance, processing and exchange to provision and administration – across the entire life cycle of the transport infrastructure. Support and control of GIS projects including requirement analysis and implementation by agile methods (e.g. using DevOps). Development and implementation of automated processes for geodata processing and visualization, in particular using service-oriented architectures and technologies. Consultation and support in strategic issues with competence center function for the areas of road information bank (SIB) and geoinformation systems (GIS).

Successfully completed studies in the field of geoinformatics, surveying, cartography, geography or comparable qualifications. Knowledge of the application and administration of geoinformation systems (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS) as well as experience with web GIS/mobile GIS solutions as well as database systems and their query languages. High competence in the field of geoinformatics, process analysis, application of technical regulations, data modeling, data formats and data transformations. Experience in geodata management (recovery, quality assurance, processing, provision) and work with geodata infrastructures. Safe handling in a programming language, with modern software development methods, in particular agile procedures (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as DevOps. Knowledge of the automation of geodata processes, ideally with script languages (e.g. Python) and service-oriented architectures (e.g. REST, OGC standards). Very good knowledge of German in word and writing.
