Construction Manager Communication Technology – Project Responsibility for Modern Infrastructure Projects (m/f/d)

Project management & construction site management: Responsible management and control of construction and installation projects in the field of communication and electrical engineering (e.g. glass fiber networks, copper networks, radio technology, mobile radio networks, railway communication) Coordination and monitoring of all execution work at the construction site in compliance with quality, time and cost specifications Ensuring an efficient construction process through proactive control and problem solution on site Team & Subcontractor management: Professional management and guidance of assembly and after-contracting teams as well as external service providers Coordination of internal and external structures to ensure timely completion Implementation of instructions, construction meetings and coordination with all project participants scheduling & project management: Creation, testing and updating of construction and schedules in close coordination with project management and contractors Monitoring the progress of the project and early detection of deviations and initiation of countermeasures Resource Planning and Capacity Control for Personnel and Material Quality assurance & occupational safety: Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations and guidelines (VDE, DIN, DGUV, VOB) Implementation of quality controls and decreases according to project requirements Monitoring occupational safety at the construction site and enforcement of safety standards Documentation & settlement: Complete documentation of the progress of construction by means of a building journal and photo documentation Creation and testing of scales, accounting documents and performance certificates Preparation and support for supplementary and amending tenders Customer & Stakeholder Management: Coordination with customers, authorities, network operators and other project participants Participation in construction meetings, construction site visits and acceptance dates Ensuring professional communication and customer orientation on site Technical support: Support in the technical preparation of tenders and evaluation of tender documents Participation in the planning and design of projects in the field of communication technology Identification of optimization potentials in project execution

Training & qualification: Complete technical training, technician or master qualification in the field of electrical engineering, communication technology, information technology or communications technology Alternatively: Study of electrical engineering, communications technology, information technology, civil engineering or comparable discipline Continuing training to the building manager, project manager or comparable qualification Professional experience: Multiannual professional experience in construction or project processing in the field of communication technology, electrical engineering or telecommunications Ideally experience in the environment of telecommunications networks, fiber optic, mobile networks or web communication Detectable project experience in the coordination of construction and installation projects technical know-how: Knowledge of the planning, installation and commissioning of communication systems (e.g. LWL/glass fiber, copper networks, mobile radio, radio technology, IP networks) Safe handling of relevant standards, regulations and regulations (VDE, DIN, DGUV, VOB/B, VOB/C) Understanding electrical engineering, cable laying, network infrastructure and telecommunications Knowledge of occupational safety and construction site management Commercial & administrative skills: Experience in handling tenders, performance directories, scales and bills Safe follow-up management and understanding of commercial project relationships Good user knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) Ideally experience with project management software, building log software or ERP systems (e.g. MS Project, NEVARIS, ARRIBA, SAP) Personal competencies: Enforcement, organisational and independent working Embossed communication skills and customer orientation Structured, solution-oriented and pragmatic approach Teamability, resilience and flexibility in construction site everyday Hands-on mentality and willingness to take over operational tasks Further requirements: German language and written knowledge (mind. C1 level) Driving licence class B and readiness to travel within the project region Ready to use on changing construction sites and occasional overnight stays
