Kita Havenkinder is a modern, six-group day care facility opened in 2025. In total, it offers six groups: two crib groups, two control kindergarten groups and two integration groups. Our crib is housed in its own building and has a spacious outdoor area that offers a variety of possibilities for playing, moving and discovering. In addition, the crib groups can also use selected differentiation spaces of the U3 region. This creates additional possibilities for different educational offers, encounters and individual development impulses. The individual needs, interests and personalities of the children are at the heart of our educational work. Your tasks include: You create a loving and varied educational everyday life that is oriented towards the needs and interests of the children and supports their holistic development. You promote motor, cognitive, linguistic and social skills through creative, playful and everyday offers – always looking at what the individual child needs and interests. You observe the children attentively and appreciatively and document their individual development steps. So create a good foundation to be able to accompany each child in a targeted manner and at his own pace. You create a wide range of speech events and create creative offers for language development that awaken the joy of communication and help children playfully discover language. You work trustfully with parents and references. In regular exchange, you will share observations, accompany the development of the child together and assist with educational questions. You create stimulating play, learning and experience spaces that provide security and orientation while promoting curiosity, self-employment and discovery. With attention and awareness of responsibility, you can identify possible risks at an early stage and act for the welfare and protection of children.

You have completed training as educators or nurses or a comparable recognised educational qualification. Ideally, you already have experience in the pedagogical work with crib children and know the special needs of children in the first years of life. You are pleased to accompany young children in their development, to perceive their signals and to give them safety, orientation and space for their own experiences. You meet children, parents and colleagues with respect, openness and appreciation and understand a trusting cooperation as an important part of your educational work. You bring empathy, patience and sense of responsibility and can create clear and reliable structures at the same time. A professional and reflected approach to proximity and distance is of course part of your educational attitude. You are open to the special requirements of work with crib children and bring the willingness to reflect and develop your own educational activities regularly. You are happy to work in the team, bring your perspective constructively and enjoy working together to create good conditions for children and families.
