Technical Assistant – Vacuum Coating, Research Institute (m/f/d)
The Fraunhofer Society is one of the world's leading organisations for application-oriented research. 74 institutes develop groundbreaking technologies for our economy and society – more precisely: 30 000 people from technology, science, administration and IT. You know, who comes to Fraunhofer wants and can change something. For yourself, for us and the markets of today and tomorrow. The Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration IZM is a world-leading research institute in the field of building and connecting technology for microelectronic systems. The industry of our customer group is as diverse as the applications of electronics. The group "Technologies for BioElectronics (TBE)" is one of 7 working groups of the "System Integration & Interconnection Technologies (SIIT)" division and designs and manufactures active neural interfaces. We integrate small, tailor-made electronics into microsystems to stimulate and record activity in the nervous tissue. Our microsystems are often flexible implants based on biocompatible materials, for use in the central or peripheral nervous system. All implants are designed, manufactured, constructed and intensively tested for their long-term use. We also explore new approaches for neuronal stimulation and wireless energy transmission. At the next time, we are looking for you as a technical assistant for our working group. .
