AI Transformation Manager (m/f/d)

As an AI Transformation Manager (m/w/d), you actively shape the future of our raw material business. As part of our Business Development team, you will develop and operationalise a corporate AI strategy and will guide a clear transformation roadmap. You will keep an eye on ongoing and planned use cases, structure initiatives along our value creation and bring business and technology together in a targeted manner. This means that ideas create sustainable AI-based solutions that work in everyday life and create measurable added value. From individual projects, you gradually develop an integrated transformation landscape with a clear strategic orientation. You build a structured AI-Use-Case portfolio, develop a resilient business-case logic and prioritize projects along our corporate strategy. From the first idea to the implementation, you accompany AI initiatives holistically and make decision-making bases transparent and comprehensible. Areas of expertise experience you as a savings partner:in which*the listens, structured and realistically evaluates potentials. In cooperation with IT, Business Development and our other departments, you control interdisciplinary project teams and ensure that technical feasibility is properly geared. You keep an eye on architecture, data availability and integration in existing systems and help make sound decisions between standard solutions, platform approaches and individual developments. You accompany the selection of external technology partners and control the cooperation in a targeted manner. A central part of your role is to create orientation and reliability. You actively participate in building a clear AI governance and establish standards on data protection, compliance, data security and ethical use of AI. This ensures that AI is used sustainably, trustworthy and scalable. Together with Human Resources, you develop structured enablement and change programs that enable our departments to use AI solutions independently and responsibly. Through training formats, exchange platforms and practical application examples, you promote security in handling AI and strengthen a culture in which data-based decisions are taken. In addition, you establish a transparent KPI tracking for our AI initiatives. You measure business impact, efficiency gains and qualitative effects and regularly report to management. So make sure that our transformation is not only strategically conceived, but operationally effective. Another part of your role is continuous market and technology screening. You test market and technology trends, innovative tools and best practices and systematically evaluate what developments are relevant to us. With a clear look at business impact and feasibility, you will be able to initiate new use cases, partnerships and strategic decisions.

A completed study in economics, economic engineering, computer science or a comparable field forms the technical basis of your profile. However, less formal conclusion than your ability to effectively use knowledge, penetrate complex relationships and combine different perspectives for a viable solution is crucial. You have at least five years of professional experience, ideally in areas such as business development, innovation, digitization, transformation or strategic organizational development. During this time, you have been responsible for demanding projects with technology or data related and know how to structure, prioritise and successfully implement complex projects. You can safely move between strategic objectives and operational feasibility. If you also provide insights into commercial or logistics business models, this is a real plus. Your understanding of how value creation, processes and markets interact and where AI can have concrete effect is crucial. You bring a profound understanding of modern AI applications, from generic AI to automation solutions to assistance systems, and can evaluate their potential economically. You will be able to derive concrete business opportunities from technological possibilities and transfer them into resilient business cases. As an interface between disciplines, IT and external partners, you are confident and binding. You have experience in change management and stakeholder management at senior management level. Different interests moderate you structured, create transparency in decision-making processes and accompany change with clarity and ophthalmology. Project management is not an end for you, but a tool for effective implementation. You bring well-founded methodological competence with both classic and agile approach models, and you know when the approach is targeted. In dynamic environments, you can also keep an overview, priorities and target orientation. You have a good sense of how compliance, governance and data protection influence transformation projects and understand these issues as a stable framework for sustainable innovation. First points of contact with trading or logistics processes are of advantage, but more importantly, your analytical ability to think, your structured way of working and your ability to understand complex facts are. Personally, you are characterized by your own initiative, willingness to design and willingness to change. You go proactively on themes, stay in stages of high dynamics and make it possible to win others for new ways. Curiosity, willingness to learn and joy to accompany organizations in their further development, shape your self-image as well as communication strength, hand-on mentality and a pronounced sense of connections. You will certainly communicate in German and English. Other languages are welcome, but no requirement. It is crucial that you move sovereignly in an international environment.
