Project Manager Mechanical Engineering – Ship Systems (m/f/d)

Project management in shipbuilding engineering including planning of dates, resources and budgets in close coordination with the overall project management Ensuring the technical implementation of project-specific requirements in concept, basic and detail engineering in cooperation with internal departments Technical coordination with customers, authorities and suppliers as well as presentation and explanation of technical solutions Monitoring the progress of the project through target-actual comparisons, introducing appropriate countermeasures and creating structured status reports Technical support for manufacturing, commissioning, acceptance and after-sales phases as well as active interface management

Complete studies in mechanical engineering, in ship operations engineering or a comparable technical qualification with corresponding further training Multiannual professional experience in the maritime environment and sound knowledge in project management Safe handling of AutoCAD and common 3D CAD systems as well as routined application of MS Office Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing on professional communication in the international project environment Independent, structured manner of operation, safe occurrence as well as pronounced communication and team capability
