The Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) is a globally outstanding centre for fusion research. With around 1100 dedicated employees in Garching near Munich and Greifswald, we are dedicated to researching the foundations for fusion power plants. These power plants generate energy without climate-damaging emissions, are safe, sustainable and almost inexhaustible – similar to the sun. Fusion power plants have the potential to play an important role in the energy supply of future generations. At the IPP site in Garching, we are conducting research at the ASDEX Upgrade major experiment. This is a fusion plant of the worldwide known type Tokamak. Processing and controlling of construction, maintenance and testing orders incl. Budget and mid-flow control as well as logistic audit/ billing in SAP Installation, maintenance and completion of orders, construction applications and contracts (Obligo / Cost Monitoring, Skonto/Gutschriften, Termin- und Statuspflege) Participation in regulatory and framework contract invitations (submissions, specifications, preselection) according to legal/legal requirements Maintenance and quality assurance of CAFM data in Archibus as well as compilation of statistics/ reports. Representation of expertise in the building management group Office and assistance tasks, such as post-processing and document management, organize meetings, create curtains, material procurement, protocol management

Successfully completed commercial training with good technical understanding or, if necessary, technical training with relevant commercial training Experience gained in the fields of expertise, contract management and accounting Excellent knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications and the willingness to acquire additional IT skills (e.g. SAP, CAFM) and contribute to the planned digitalization Knowledge of construction and building technology of advantage German knowledge and good English knowledge in word and writing Solution-oriented thinking and action, coupled with a pronounced hands-on mentality and an independent, structured and service-oriented manner
