The SOS Children's Village Württemberg is a youth aid association with differentiated offers for the stationary and semi-steady accommodation of children and young people and for outpatient care, promotion and advice of children and their families. Our range of services also includes two public kindergartens, a crib, a forest kindergarten, outpatient assistance for education and school-based youth assistance.

At the SOS Children's Village Württemberg, we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in full time (38,5 hours/Where.)

Our stationary residential group in the centre of Schorndorf – just a few minutes walk from the train station – offers eight children, adolescents and unaccompanied minor refugees at the age of 12 to 21 years a protected home. You take over the coordinating role in a dedicated pedagogical team and, together with your colleagues, shape a stable and loving everyday life for young people. Daily support & relationship work: They serve the young people in everyday life, give hold, orientation and create a trusting relationship Educational planning & promotion: They actively contribute to individual assistance planning and promote the development of each individual Leisure & education: They organize leisure activities, accompany homework and promote social and school skills Cooperation & Networking: They are in close contact with schools, therapists, authorities and the system of origin – always in the sense of young people Team coordination: They take responsibility for the organisation, economic processes and the pedagogical development of the housing group intercultural competence: They promote linguistic and cultural integration of unaccompanied minor refugees Child protection & responsibility: They pay attention to the welfare of children and young people and implement protection concepts professionally

Qualification: A completed study of social education or social work (Diplom, B.A. or M.A.) or a comparable educational qualification Relationship: You encounter young people with empathy, clarity and an appreciation attitude – even in challenging situations intercultural sensitivity: You have an open heart for young people with diverse biographies and cultural backgrounds Reflectivity: They actively deal with your actions and remain solution-oriented Communication strength: You are binding in exchange with parents, departments and colleagues Team spirit & responsibility: They like to work in the team, are reliable and take responsibility for a sustainable group structure Flexibility: You are willing to take care of night and weekend services professional proximity: Your approach to proximity and distance is conscious and reflected
