Design, implementation and maintenance of WAN and SD-WAN solutions in global data centers, regional hubs and branches. Working with network architecture designs that support cloud transformation and digitalization initiatives Integration of cloud connectivity (Azure, AWS, GCP) into the global WAN infrastructure and ensuring performance, scalability and security Conducting network modernization projects and replacing outdated MPLS and VPN infrastructures through advanced, policy-based routing solutions Development and maintenance of network documentation, including architecture diagrams, standards and operating procedures Supporting network automation initiatives with tools such as Ansible, Python or Terraform to improve efficiency and consistency Monitoring, analysis and optimization of network performance and proactive implementation of fault detection and troubleshooting measures Work with cross-functional teams (security, cloud and infrastructure) to align network architecture at corporate goals Cooperation with providers and service providers, review of technical designs, SLAs and support strategies Ensuring network compliance with the company's security policies, legal requirements and best practices in the industry This location can be occupied at the locations Düsseldorf, Berlin, Bremen, Kassel, Neckarsulm, Kiel and Unterlüß or possibly at 100% remote.

Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, information technology or a comparable area Multiannual professional experience in the field of corporate networks, including WAN, LAN and security technologies proven experience in the design and implementation of SD-WAN solutions (Cisco, HPe Auruba Edge Connect) Knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VRF, QoS) Experience with Cloud Network and Connectivity Models (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, VPN, SASE) Practical experience in the DDI environment with integrated provision and operation of DNS, DHCP and IPAM Confidence with network security principles and integration of firewalls, VPNs and zero-trust architectures Practical experience with network automation and monitoring tools (Ansible, Python, SD-WAN technologies, etc.) Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
