Your tasks:

• Preparation of the assembly of large components, e.g. mounting of weld preparations and edge rounding according to technical drawings and parts lists
• stapling and assembly of large components taking into account the correct sequence, welding distortion and stability of the construction; performing corrections for deviations
• Testing of welding structures for dimensional accuracy and distortion using technical drawings; Use of suitable test equipment and optionally material-friendly heat treatment for correction
• Transport of components by means of hall cranes and industrial trucks as well as selection of suitable stop means, taking into account the focus, weight and UVV

Your profile:

• Completed training as a steel construction locksmith, engineering mechanic, metal maker*in or a comparable qualification in metal processing
• Safe handling of technical drawings and lists
• Experience in the assembly of large steel components using the MAG welding method according to technical drawings
• Self-employed, earnings-oriented working methods as well as team skills and willingness to shiftwork
