As Legal Counsel – Energy Sales Contracts, you will take on a key in-house role at the intersection of law, energy markets and commercial decision-making. Based in Milan, Madrid or Hamburg, you will actively shape energy sales structures in an international renewable energy environment. You will work on sophisticated PPA and hedging structures, cooperating closely with investment, risk and financing experts, and contribute directly to the commercial success of renewable energy projects across Europe. This position offers you high responsibility, strong visibility within the organization and the opportunity to develop long-term legal solutions in a fast-evolving regulatory and commercial energy landscape. Drafting & Negotiation of Energy Sales Contracts: You draft, review and negotiated complex Power Purchase Agreements (physical and financial), on-site PPAs, direct marketing agreements and green electricity contracts across European markets. Legal Support Across the Deal Lifecycle: You legal guidance throughout origination, tender and execution phases, supporting commercial decisions with clear, pragmatic legal input. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Collaboration: You work closely with PPA Origination, Investment, Project Finance, Energy Risk Management and Portfolio Management teams to align legally, commercial and risk perspectives. Regulatory Monitoring & Legal Assessment: You continuous monitor in developments European energy law and assess their impact on PPA structures, contract templates and transaction risks. Tender Processes & Decision Support: You support tender procedures and present legal analyses, risk assessments and concrete recommendations to internal committees and decision-makers. Interface Management with External Advisors: You act as a key interface between internal specialist departments and external legal advisors, coordination national and international law firms efficient.

Law Degree & Qualification: You hold a law degree with honors in Italy or Spain and are fully qualified to practice law in your jurisdiction. Relevant Professional Experience: You have at least three years of professional experience in renewable energy law, ideally gained in a mutually oriented law firm or the legal department of an energy, infrastructure or financial company. Strong Contract & Negotiation Skills: You bring solid experience in drafting and expanding complex commercial and project-related contracts, ideally within energy or infrastructure projects. Structured & Solution-Oriented Mindset: You work independently, think analytically and approach legal challenges with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset. Excellent Communication Skills: You communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels and are comfortable presenting legal assessments to decision-makers. Language & Personal Strengths: You are fluent in business English and Italian or Spanish, demonstrating high reliability, team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility, and complete your profile with assertiveness and negotiation strength.
