System Engineer Mainframe Basis (m/f/d)

Together with colleagues, you are responsible for the operation and further development of the IBM Mainframe environment (e.g. z/OS , JES2/3, SMP/E, Coupling Facility etc.). You will develop the technologies and tools used further (e.g./OSMF, Gitlab, USS, AI, etc.). You participate in the installation of z/OS and system-related products and support in the optimization. In problem situations, you bring your know-how in a targeted manner. You advise our internal customers on the solutions used. Together with the Product Owner and the team, you translate complex technical and technical requirements into sustainable concepts.

You have a successful degree in IT or a comparable training or a comparable relevant professional experience. In previous activities, you could acquire good knowledge in the mainframe environment on the topics z/OS, SMP/E as well as IBM Z System Automation and LPAR configuration and setup (e.g.). Basic mainframe infrastructure knowledge distinguish you, ideally with a completed mainframe training. (e.g. EMA, GSAP). At best you could already (first) gain experience in agile work in the past. Good knowledge of German in word and writing (min. level B2) complete your profile.
