SAP – Basic Administrator (m/f/d)

In the operational day-to-day business, you support the smooth operation of our SAP system landscape (ERP, HCM, FI/CO) and work closely with an experienced SAP team and internal software development. You perform tasks in the installation, configuration and maintenance of the SAP basic infrastructure and are responsible for monitoring, implementation of updates and ensuring backups. In addition, you accompany system updates, patches and release changes and ensure the stability and performance of the systems through continuous optimizations. You ensure the high availability of SAP systems and are responsible for user management as well as the authorization and role concept. A special focus of your activity lies in active participation in the transformation of SAP ECC on-premise to S/4HANA, gaining valuable experience with pioneering SAP technologies. You observe current developments and trends in the SAP and technology sector, assess their benefits for our company and bring their own ideas to the further development of the SAP landscape. In addition, you take responsibility for redesigning and modernising our SAP landscape and advise the IT leadership on strategic and conceptual issues. Your area of responsibility is rounded off by the careful documentation of your activities and by your contribution to the continuous optimization and further development of processes.

You have completed your studies in (economic) informatics or completed IT training, for example as a specialist (m/w/d) for system integration. In addition, you have already gained first practical experience in the SAP Basic Administration; Knowledge in SQL and in other database systems is advantageous. You bring well-founded know-how in the Linux environment and ideally already have container technologies like Docker and/or Kubernetes. A strong process understanding distinguishes you: You recognize relationships, think beyond system boundaries and understand IT as an integral part of modern business processes. In addition, you will enjoy systematic solutions and take responsibility in an agile team that works closely with the software development in the SAP environment. Your profile is rounded off by a structured and independent way of working, strong team spirit and the willingness to continue developing and learning new.
