Development and construction of tools for the production of elastomer moldings in transfer molding – from concept phase to series maturity Implementation, evaluation and optimization of filling and flow simulations to ensure a robust and economical manufacturing process deriving optimization measures from simulation results Design of tool components taking into account material properties, vulcanization processes and production requirements, as well as participation in the development of new products and testing for production 3D models and 2D drawings with CAD systems (e.g. Creo) Maintenance, repair and optimization of existing components, assemblies and drawings in the PDM system Support in the commissioning and sampling of new tools

successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, plastics technology, production technology or comparable qualification, ideally prior training as a tool mechanic or technical product designer well-founded experience in the design of tools, ideally in the field of rubber processing or plastic technology safe handling of common CAD systems, PDM software and simulation software Understanding vulcanization processes, elastomer properties and their influence on tool design precise and structured operation, pronounced communication skills, team spirit and a pragmatic, ground-based working style good knowledge of German and English
