As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security.

The CS Collaboration (CDI) organization unit is responsible for BWI's projects and projects for the "Collaboration & Digital Administration, Information Management (CDI)" cluster of the Bundeswehr. The CS Collaboration aims to plan and launch collaboration and groupware technologies for the Bundeswehr. Among other things, the projects Groupware, DokMBw, LI13 (NuKomBw 2.0) , LI14 (VCSBw Höher VS-NfD) are processed.

Your profile:

• Completed IT degree or comparable qualification
• Mind. 6-year relevant professional experience in the IT infrastructure environment
• Extensive experience in building and operating infrastructures in the data center or cloud environment
• Experience in the migration of IT infrastructures from on-premise to (hybrid)cloud
• independent, structured way of working, team skills and the ability to easily present complex facts
• German and technical knowledge of English

Your tasks:

• Conception, planning and support in the technical implementation of IT infrastructure (on-premise and cloud) for collaborative solutions
• Translation of customer requirements into technical requirements for on-premise and cloud solutions
• Responsible as a cloud integrator for professional coordination with internal service providers such as IaaS and PaaS
• Professional participation in the migration and integration of selected systems in cloud services
• Development and modernisation of existing IT infrastructure (on-premise) in coordination with the performance-providing departments
• Ensuring security and compliance requirements, such as BSI IT Basic
