Press Spokesperson (m/f/d)

As a press spokesperson for the Association of Purposes and its subsidiaries, you are the first contact person for the local and specialist press in all questions about the Neckar-Alb Regional Railway (RSBNA) As part of our staff office ''Strategic Control & Communication'', you develop effective press strategies on topical and overarching topics in close cooperation with the management. You write regular press releases on the progress of the construction and project of RSBNA You organize press talks and conduct these independently and professionally You are responsible for the effective support of citizen participation dates, events, trade fairs and similar events In the case of joint press-active topics, you work closely with the press offices of our association members and project partners as well as, if necessary, with other stakeholders. You continuously observe the publications in the local and specialist press and create our daily press review You create editorial contributions for various publications around the RSBNA, e.g. for the web industry specialist press You continuously develop the press work of the RSBNA Group You represent the interests of press work in internal projects such as corporate design and website relaunch You support communication measures and various projects of the Staff Office

You have a degree in the field of communication/PR, journalism, political sciences or a comparable field of expertise and have several years of experience in the field of press and public relations, ideally in the political environment. Alternatively, you will have a completed study in the field of transport engineering, transport, mobility management, spatial planning or a comparable subject with regard to mobility and infrastructure and have strong communication skills as well as experience in press and public relations, ideally in the political environment You have a very good written and oral expressiveness in German and are also addressing complex planning and political issues. You possess strategic thinking and have a good understanding of political and technical relations You have a safe appearance and are also quiet and resilient under time and expectation pressure You are happy to work independently, are very team-ready and willing to work with your colleagues very closely across departments. Empathy, discretion and a high sense of responsibility complete your personal profile You have at least good knowledge of MS Office You are interested in topics related to the ÖPNV and rail transport and are ready to work in both industry-specific content and the political environment of our Association of Purposes You are ready to work on evenings or weekends and ideally have a class B driving licence for occasional external appointments
