As a senior expert for SAP strategy and digital transformation, you will design the strategic foundation of this transformation at the Hessian Ministry of Finance: with the conceptual depth that you know from management consulting or strategic IT control – and with an impact that goes far beyond individual corporate transformations. You develop strategies and target images for a complex SAP landscape, define standards and governance structures for administration with over 17,000 employees (including the authorities assigned to the Ministry of Finance) and accompany digitization projects that are to lasting. Development and updating of the SAP and cloud strategy as well as the digital target architecture of the Hessian state administration - from conception to prioritization to implementation management. Strategic accompaniment of central transformation and migration projects (SAP S/4HANA, cloud solutions) as well as technical control of architectural decisions at program and portfolio level. Development and maintenance of standards, guidelines and governance frameworks of administrative digitization – in particular Clean-Core approach, SAP architecture and implementation principles. Accompanying process harmonizations in central areas of the state administration based on SAP-Best-Practices and reference models. Strategic further development of central digital service platforms (e.g. service portal) as part of the SAP overall strategy. anchoring IT security, data protection and compliance requirements already in strategy design and architecture guidelines ('Security by Design''). Consultation and coordination with departments, specialist and IT participants at the level of expertise and management, as well as participation in cross-resort decision-making and forum processes.

Successfully completed academic studies (Master or Diploma University) in Business Informatics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or comparable discipline, as an alternative to a comparable qualification that helps us advance our digitalization initiatives. About five years of relevant professional practice in the operational implementation of SAP projects. Ideally, you have already gained first experience in the design and strategic support of complex SAP transformations. Funded knowledge in SAP corporate architecture and governance, in particular in the context of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, cloud transactions and clean core principles. Experience in the development of digital target images, transformation roadmaps and reference architectures. Structured and conceptual thinking combined with the ability to prepare complex technical and strategic issues for different target groups and decision levels. Embossed communication, moderation and persuasive competence – you build confidence in the height of your eyes, even in political and organizational complex environments. The drive to actively drive changes - and to build resilience, structures and standards in a complex, politically shaped environment that lasts. Future orientation: The will to advance the digitization of the Hessian state administration as an active driver. Certifications in the SAP environment (e.g. SAP Certified Technology Architect) or in Enterprise Architecture Management (e.g. TOGAF).
