What we plan together: REWE Group expands its logistics network and invests in the automation of intralogistics. Whether highly automated Greenfield project or retrofitting to increase performance at our existing sites, we are responsible for the automation of intralogistics at REWE from the first idea to the steady operation. In this context, we are looking for a Head of Intralogistics, WMS & Processes (m/w/d) with special focus on logistics IT, especially warehouse management systems and processes.

You can set up your office either in Cologne or in Neu-Isenburg.

What you do with us: You are passionate about automation projects in intralogistics and enjoy the planning and implementation of the individual project phases from the specification to the operational operation with focus WMS and adjacent IT structures (e.g. WCS, SPS, HOST systems). You take responsibility: From the data-driven analysis and design of a business case to the acceptance of the software systems, you are a contact person for operators, related specialist departments and suppliers. You have everything in mind: you understand IT systems in detail and see them with the eyes of the operator – from the idea and identification of digitalization potentials, through testing and verifying new releases to the commissioning of sophisticated automatic systems and corresponding software functionalities. As a manager, you will oversee the ongoing projects in all relevant phases and influence the success of the project through the selection of suitable measures, such as coaching the team members, adjustments in the staging of the projects or their own participation in decisive phases of the project. You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of the team WMS and processes and ensure the professional development of the team according to the operational requirements. Your basis is a technical-oriented training or study in (economic) computer science, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, BWL or logistics or a comparable training. You have at least five years of professional experience in intralogistics - as a user, intralogistics providers or as a consultant. You have been able to prove your knowledge in logistics (preferably in food retail) and have experience in large-scale projects (intralogistics budget in the double-digit million range). Ideally, you have first leadership experience. We require a basic readiness to travel, depending on the respective project phase. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing complete your profile.
