Technical Operator for Tunnel and Traffic Control Systems (m/f/d)

To support our team at the Tunnelleitzentrale Berlin, we are looking for you as a technical operator for tunnel and traffic control systems (w/m/d).

You monitor the tunnel systems using process visualization software as well as video acquisition, initiate measures in the event of malfunctions and log all events. In addition, perform backup tests and support during commissioning and functional tests during maintenance work. If necessary, you can manually control lighting, ventilation and tunnel blocking systems and use traffic technology in a targeted manner. You receive emergency calls, inform tunnel users about loudspeakers/commands (also by means of voice reservations) and act as a central contact person for firefighters, police and rescue services (BOS). You implement instructions from the BOS services and cooperate in security exercises. You check and expect maintenance, maintenance and operating costs (e.g. electricity, water, BMA). You coordinate maintenance appointments, check reports and maintain the maintenance contracts. You create tunnel statistics for the BASt (Bundesanstalt für Strassen- und Verkehrswesen), produce quick messages for the BAB sector, manage video data and continue the technical documentation.

Successful completion as a state-tested technician of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable knowledge and experience to fully perform the tasks. Knowledge of StVO (including VV-StVO), RSA, RWZA and RWB. Ideally, the TLS (Technical Delivery Conditions for Route Stations) and the MARZ (Merkblatt für Verkehrsrechner) are already familiar to you. Sovereign handling of electrical and machine equipment and IT systems for process data processing. Analytical thinking, high decision-making competence and resilience in critical situations. You have the ability to communicate precisely (presentation and communication skills) and to take a safe approach to authorities.

That would be desirable: Safe handling of systems for video archiving and process data processing. Experience in the production of technical evaluations and statistics.
