Number: MER0003WJ5 As a power train plant, the Hamburg plant is significantly involved in the development and production of axles and axle components for Mercedes-Benz cars. The focus of your work in the development area for axles and axle components is the development of a new generation of axle components, as well as the planning, evaluation and implementation of experimental testing. These challenges come to you: Handling technologies and systems for the development and testing of axle components (e.g. operational strength, tribology, statistics, python, big data, etc.)

Cooperation in the development of test concepts for the development and production of axles and axle components

Software-based analysis and evaluation of experiments

Cooperation in the interdisciplinary project team

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Commitment and team skills

Analytical thinking and strategic working

Practical experience in the field of CAD/construction, programming and FE calculation is advantageous
