Automation Engineer - Beckhoff TwinCAT

You design and develop reusable framework libraries for use in various customer projects Improve and maintain our existing frameworks to ensure stability, performance and scalability You document architectural decisions and establish development standards for effective framework use You improve code quality and wartability by using modern software engineering principles and tools You optimize workflows and develop best practices in automation technology. Less experienced team members support and support you and promote a culture of cooperation and continuous learning

Successfully completed studies of electrical engineering, automation technology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or a comparable technical field At least 5 years of practical experience in PLC programming for special machines Funded knowledge of IEC 61131-3 (structured text/SFC) with TwinCAT 3 and/or CODESYS 3 Experience in the development of reusable libraries with TwinCAT 3 or CODESYS 3 Confidence with library documentation, ideally with reStructuredText Basic understanding of object-oriented programming (e.g. Java, Kotlin, C#) Knowledge of the principles of software architecture and modern software development techniques Experience with NC applications and commissioning of drives (e.g. Bosch Rexroth, Beckhoff) Knowledge of VisiWin 7 and/or Beckhoff HMI Experience in robot programming (e.g. KUKA, ABB, Stäubli) is advantageous High readiness for international travel Safe English, German is advantageous
