We communicate these technologies with the customer, identify potentials together and put them into prototypes and Demonstrators prove.

· Tracking new technologies and trends in research and the market (e.g. developments of the latest VR headsets, display technologies and XR engines, incoming technologies in computer graphics and artificial Intelligence · Assessment of new technologies in studies and practical experiments (e.g. immersive computer graphics, XR frameworks, human-machine interaction, User Interface Design, e.g. · Creation of demonstrators and prototypes together with customers (e.g. implementation of prototypical learning and training systems with Units of the Bundeswehr) · Representation of BWI interests in terms of technology Further development (e.g. in specialist bodies and strategic partnerships)
-Your profile:
· Completed IT, engineering or media designer studies · At least 5 years of professional experience after studying in Virtual reality, game development, media design or Software development · Excellent expertise in Extended Reality/Virtual Reality/Mixed Reality technologies in research or development · Ability to independently implement XR environments (concept, content design and technical realization in hardware and software) · Multiannual experience and good knowledge in 3D modelling (3DStudioMax, Blender, Maja or equivalent) and established game engines (Unity or Unreal) · Good knowledge of relevant programming languages (Python, C++ or C#) · Good knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux) · Knowledge in the field of high-performance computing (HPC), in particular computer architectures and distributed systems · High level of self-employment, earnings orientation · German and very good English skills
