System Engineer - Remote Access Services (m/w/d)

The “Network” division develops and operates communication services (LAN/WLAN and WAN incl. Security and RAS) for the Bundeswehr, the Bund and the BWI. The Remote Access Service (RAS) department develops and manages the service architecture of state-of-the-art IT solutions for the safe, mobile use of user IT with high protection requirements.

Creation and support of the service design and the overall architecture of mobile remote access solutions

Supporting projects as a technical expert (m/w/d) for mobile, scalable solutions from the manufacturer ''genua'

Conduct and ensure close coordination with the overarching architectural teams and support services

3rd Level Problem Support for Different Customers for Remote Access Service in Focus ''genua''

Continuous improvement of the service taking into account technological trends

Participation in the creation of documentation

Completed training or studies in the IT environment

At least 2 years of relevant professional experience after studying (after training at least 5) in the field of network technology with a focus on IT architecture

Experience in the RAS/VPN environment desirable, ideally with solution of the manufacturer ''genua''

Good knowledge in the IP environment (routing & switching) and operating systems

Good knowledge in the field of IT security and experience in participating in IT projects

Very good analysis, communication and team skills as well as customer orientation and high self-initiative

Conscientiousness, careful and conscientious working in conjunction with a high level of readiness Readiness to travel to local team voting meetings
