Code analysis & inventory: You dive deeply into the existing code base, understand the structures, dependencies and critical paths – even where documentation is missing. Application Ownership: You take technical responsibility for the application – as a key player in architecture, quality and further development. Modernisation: Together with the project team, you develop a realistic migration strategy and implement it gradually. Architecture decisions: You evaluate options, meet informed decisions and communicate them clearly – to the team and business. Team development: You work closely with the stock team and actively advances know-how transfer. Bridge builders between IT and Business: You translate technical complexity into understandable language – for subjects that do not speak an IT language, and for a top management that expects transparency and orientation. You are not only a developer, but an active communication partner in the project.

As a technical manager, you design the modernization of a business-critical enterprise application and develop a grown monolith step by step towards a sustainable solution. You work at the interface of specialist, development and external partners, evaluate technical options, meet architectural decisions and guide the team.
