In the clinic for congenital heart defects and child cardiology, we care about patients of all ages from delicate newborns to older adults. Our offer includes the entire range of modern cardiological medicines: from medicamental therapies to interventional interventions to complex operations.

As one of the largest clinics of their kind in Germany, we place particular emphasis on comprehensive and sensitive care. In the child cardiological area of station C.118 we accompany our young patients before and after operations or interventions in the heart catheter laboratory. The focus is on the treatment of newborns and infants with complex heart defects. But also heart-transplanted children, young people with severe heart failure or rhythm disorders find the best care for us.

In addition, we serve children with diseases from the fields of endocrinology, neuropaediatrics, abdominal surgery as well as ENT, MKG and CNS surgery. Our goal: to combine medical excellence with human warmth.

Take this with you:

• A completed training as a health and child caregiver / health and child caregiver / GKKP or Nurse for children / Nurse for children or health and nursing / Health and nursing / GKP

• Interest in further development in technical terms towards paediatric cardiology

• A specialist training in paediatric cardiology or the willingness to complete it

• Own responsibility and organisational ability as well as social skills such as cooperation and team skills, special sensitivity and understanding and empathy in dealing with patients and their relatives
