At the Palliative Station (C2B) of the Centre for Oncology, people with incurable, life-limiting diseases of all organ systems are accompanied and maintained. In addition to pain and symptom relief, it is also about the planning of further care, as well as the advice, guidance and training of patients: both inside and their relatives - also with regard to dismissal. Another focus of the work is the care and support of the patient: in her last phase of life and death, also here the relatives are in the focus of our work. Patient care is carried out in the multidisciplinary team consisting of specialized health and nursing staff: women, doctors: women, psychoonologists, pastoral care workers, social workers: women, music and art therapists as well as nutritional advisers and physiotherapists.
