The Ludwigsburg School of Education is a university equivalent to the universities with doctoral and habilitation law and focuses on educational questions in research and teaching. Internationalization is a central topic at the Ludwigsburg School of Education. The Technical Service department is the central service unit of our campus and ensures smooth operation and continuous maintenance of the properties. Our versatile team is divided into the core areas of workshop (7 employees), gate (5 employees), post office (2 employees) and space management (1 employees). In your role as a workshop manager, you not only control your own team, but also contribute significantly to the overall success of the department.

Organisational and professional management and responsible management of the internal workshop team compliance, compliance and documentation of the legal operator's obligations for our properties, including the responsible organisation, time-limit monitoring and execution of all recurring audits (e.g. expert, expert, UVV and TÜV audits) and the preparation of the associated maintenance and maintenance plans ensuring the availability of all construction, technical and safety equipment in compliance with technical rules and safety; targeted maintenance and monitoring of building control technology (GLT) Coordination and supervision of foreign companies in the case of repairs or modernizations (including the acquisition of offers), coordination with offices/institutions of public law and the processing of procurement Coordination of damage reports, internal relocations, furniture and remodeling, as well as planning of measures in close coordination with the technical management, as well as eliminating incidents by the workers of the workshop A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

Complete degree in facility management or in a technical-engineering field (e.g. building, utility, electrical engineering or mechatronics) or alternatively a comparable qualification as a state-tested technician/master (m/w/d) (e.g. GLT, Elektro, SHK) with corresponding professional practice Insufficient professional experience in building management, legally safe operation and maintenance of installations (ideally with interfaces to the public service) as well as interdisciplinary expertise (standards, laws and regulations) Good organizational and administrative knowledge, safe handling of common IT applications and a structured and economic way of working Open personality with a binding appearance and joy in dealing with people A way of working characterised by service orientation, reliability and high self-initiative and the ability to maintain a cool head even in challenging situations
