As a central contact person / central contact person for server and database technology, you contribute significantly to the stability, security and modernity of our IT landscape. You take responsibility for critical systems and at the same time shape how You look in the future. You can use automation as a basic attitude, not as an option. (Server)Operation: You are responsible for the setup, configuration and operation of servers on Linux and Windows (physical and virtual). You will continuously develop the internal system landscape. You manage the mostly externally hosted systems, ensure their stability and align SLAs and services with external service providers. You actively address open standards and modern infrastructure approaches. Automation: You use automation tools such as dollt, ansible or similar solutions to optimize processes and increase the efficiency of our IT infrastructure. System security: You cure systems according to current safety requirements and BSI recommendations. The security of our IT infrastructure is in your competent hands. Backup strategies: You develop and set thought-out backup concepts by (3-2-1 is not a countdown for you, but a proven strategy). Database integration: You integrate and maintain relational and NoSQL databases and ensure their optimal performance. Virtualization and Containerization: You develop solutions for the sovereign management of tomorrow.

Completed studies (at least Bachelor) preferably in computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics, IT management or in a comparable MINT study subject focusing on computer science. You can also apply if you receive your degree in one of the above-mentioned subjects up to 30.09.2026 (end summer semester 2026). OR IHK Bachelor Professional in IT We place great emphasis on practical experience that sustainably advance our IT infrastructure. These include working with Linux and/or Windows servers and databases. Please demonstrate this knowledge in your application documents by providing proof (e.g. work certificates, project descriptions or certificates). Your profile is rounded off by the following strengths: A high level of learning and motivation with technological development. The ability to discover problems early, to develop solutions independently and to optimize processes. German skills with level C1 are required for the exercise of the job.
