Industrial Mechanic Boat Equipment (m/f/d)

Mechanical processing of foundations, transport, installation and testing of components on board submarines, including assembly of drive, control and safety systems (main/auxiliary drives, rudder/control units, power plants) and pumps, valves, compressors and hydraulic/pneumatic systems Assembly of large and small appliances, valves and fittings as well as various components, equipment and fittings in cylindrical boat structures and narrow or difficult to access areas Execution and takeover of work within an interdisciplinary organisational unit, including self-control of the assembled components according to test instructions and performance of tightness controls or tests on installed fittings documentation of all work according to test instructions and reading, understanding and optimising technical documentation; Application of software to retrieve digital building documents Use established mechanical expertise to ensure the quality and safety of the entire assembly and testing processes

completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic:in or comparable qualifications and at least 3 years of professional experience; solid basic knowledge in handling IT hardware and software is desirable Extensive sense of responsibility and quality, independent working, fast learning and understanding, high resilience and aptitude for cooperation in a challenging environment; Ready for shift, weekend and night shift work Analytical thinkability, strong team skills and customer-oriented communication skills; authentic, reliable appearance and the ability to advance critical topics confidently High performance, flexibility and ability to find a healthy balance even in stressful situations; continuous reflection and readiness to learn to further develop the technically demanding and time-consuming product environment Ready for occasional short foreign operations agreed upon by agreement
