Number: MER0003U3P The MP - Mercedes-Benz Procurement and Supplier Quality division is responsible for an annual purchase volume in the two-digit billion range of all Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans as well as the quality of all Mercedes Benz Cars. With the support of nearly 1,500 suppliers in Germany and abroad, we supply our worldwide vehicle and aggregate plants with the necessary production materials. We have locations in Germany, South Africa, China, USA, India, Mexico and Argentina. Do you want to gain practical experience in the field of supplier quality and actively snug into the job of a quality engineer*in, have fun working in a motivated team, gaining a wide range of insights into the operational and strategic maturity management processes and processes of Mercedes-Benz AG, working closely with suppliers and departments, and understanding how a modern and professional quality department is guided and controlled? The team “Quality for Exterior door circumferences” is responsible for the degree of maturity protection and quality of door modules, door handles, door seals, locks, rear lid drives and camera modules for all Mercedes-Benz vehicle classes. We are in coordination with international suppliers every day to secure the supply chains in the long term. In quality, we work closely with the internally adjacent Mercedes-Benz areas such as development, materials technology, purchasing and capacity management. Externally, all ripeness activities of a new component will be coordinated with the supplier. In the case of critical quality topics in series volumes, we support our Q-Kollegs in the Mercedes-Benz plants. We apply all quality methods and tools such as VDA 6.3 Audits, VDA- RGA maturity tracking, PPAP, ABC classification. You can actively support us. As part of your internship at the Sindelfingen site, the following tasks come to you: Support in the preparation and follow-up of maturity dates with national and international suppliers Support in preparing and implementing audits Tracking the pattern of new parts Follow-up for pending pattern changes Participation in internal quality committee meetings Support for evaluations of quality topics in the field A hybrid work with partial HomeOffice and partial on site is possible The activity can begin from March 2026.
