Simulation Maintainer - ADTF / C++ / Linux / VTD (m/f/d)

We are specialized software development partners in real-time graphics. As a partner and supplier of various premium automotive manufacturers, we support the graphical surface development for high-end cluster instruments and infotainment systems in the vehicle. In addition, we are increasingly participating in Proof-of-Concept projects and feasibility studies in Human Machine Interaction (HMI). We focus on the implementation of new technologies and their usability and implementation in the car of the future.

You serve and wait the driving simulator, including monitoring the correct function of all connected components You enter and manage complex computer networks (Windows and Linux-based systems) You support the preparation and implementation of test reports, including the creation of eye-catching, preparation and monitoring of data recording and regular data backup You plan and develop the driving simulator (software, hardware, electrical, mechanics) as well as the tool landscape You build vehicle and simulator components, put them in operation, test them, connect them to vehicle bus systems and start or adjust the REST bus simulation You implement new filters in ADTF (Automotive Data and Time-Triggered Framework) and program real-time driving dynamics simulations You adapt the technical infrastructure, define new interfaces and integrate new hardware into the driving simulator network You create and optimierst 3D models, scenarios (with vehicles, pedestrians and triggers) and adapt track and data recordings You tune specific requirements (e.g. simulator connection, driving data, visual data) with specialist departments and colleagues: You enter leading institutes on site and organize them as part of the course

You have at least 4 years of professional experience in supporting simulation environments, ideally in the automotive industry You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable discipline You have deep knowledge of tools such as Hexagon Virtual Test Drive (VTD), ADTF, Ergoneers Dikablis & D-Lab, Unity, Unreal, Microsoft Visual Studio, CanOE and Matlab-Simulink You have expert knowledge in programming languages (C++, C#, Java, Objective-C, JavaScript, LUA, HTML5) and Frameworks (.NET, WPF, Qt, DirectX, OpenGL) You bring practical experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, Embedded Linux) and vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, MOST, FlexRay) You have knowledge of real-time driving dynamics simulation, infrastructure and network topology as well as optics for projection systems You have sound electronics skills for the integration of new technologies You have very good English and German knowledge in word and writing You ideally have a prototyping license for testing activities You are ready for onsite work in Ingolstadt and flexible for shiftwork in studies
