Head of Software Development (m/f/d)

Strategic control and guidance of software development for the central product groups Concrete pump technology, 3D concrete pressure and mobile belt conveyors Technical and organizational development of the department, including targeted development of relevant competences and structures Close cross-departmental cooperation with product management, development and production Definition and development of product-specific hardware and software architectures based on C/C++ and PLC-based controls and the integration of edge devices unification, modularization and scaling of the software landscape, including both existing platforms and existing legacy systems as well as new product groups such as 3D concrete printing Further development of automated software validation of unit tests, SiL and HiL tests, as well as physical product protection Conception and establishment of appropriate development processes, toolchains and technologiestacks Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, laws and guidelines, in particular with regard to the Data Act, the AI Act and safety and security regulations Supporting the global R&D footprint and close cooperation with international development areas, in particular within the SANY Group

Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, software engineering or a comparable discipline Long-standing professional experience in software development with multi-year experience in a senior position with budgetary and personnel responsibility Impressed communication strength and sovereignty in the international management environment as well as networked, methodical thinking proven experience in the development of embedded software and hardware-related systems in the industrial environment, ideally in the field of mobile work machines Designed competence in the development of model-based and code-based software solutions, in particular in the environment of C/C++ and SPS-based and Linux-based systems Good understanding of relevant standards, guidelines and regulatory requirements such as Safety, Security, Data Protection, Data Act and AI Act Experience in the strategic design of organisations, software architectures and development processes (Change management and scalability) Extensive capacity for cooperation and management of cross-departmental interfaces, in particular with product management, production and global partners Negotiating English skills, Chinese knowledge are beneficial
