Number: MER0003UO1 In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future. We mean innovative products with the highest quality and efficient development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will secure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz in the future. Our ''UX Design Vehicles'' department is responsible for the creation of intuitive and functional UX concepts for future Mercedes-Benz In-Car systems. In our multidisciplinary design team we are constantly generating new ideas, designing innovative content, designs and prototypes around the vehicle of the future. We are looking for a working student*in for support in the areas: Construction of prototypes in Figma or Protopia

Development of innovative uses for AI

Your tasks: Design of digital, automotive human-vehicle environment interactions with specialization on operating concepts for future Mercedes-Benz Cars, concept and research vehicles and other digital applications

Focus on conception and rapid prototyping for the development of new, digital human-machine communications in the automotive sector

Create ideas about interactive prototypes in a real-time environment

Experimental design and coding with the help of new technologies to develop approaches to potential applications

The work student activity can start from January 2026.

Course with focus Interaction Design, Game Design or Media Design

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Experience in building interactive prototypes in real-time applications (Unreal/Unity)

System thinker*in with very good knowledge of design processes

Dealing with the necessary programs in the real time 3D and others Unity, Unreal, Blender

Sovereign handling of OS and Windows systems

Enthusiasm and pioneer*in for new tools
