Tasks

The Mercedes-Benz Gastronomie GmbH is represented as a privately owned community service for Mercedes-Benz AG employees at 7 MBAG sites with around 700 employees. The gastronomic offers run in their own way range from around 20 canteens and 45 shops to the event-catring to the guest and conference hosting. The Lämmerbuckel conference house and the conference and conference management complete the business portfolio.

Are you ready to further develop the IT landscape of one of Germany's largest corporate gastronomy into visionary and to reach and inspire thousands of guests every day with modern digital solutions?

As a team leader*in IT Business Partner of Gastronomy, you report directly to the management and take over the following tasks:

• Responsibility for all gastronomy systems of Mercedes-Benz AG's own and foreign companies throughout Germany, including control and ensuring the daily operational readiness of the overall complex system landscape
• Strategic & economic development of IT processes in the sense of Operational Excellence to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of gastronomic core processes
• As an information officer of the Mercedes-Benz Gastronomy, you can secure a uniform strategy towards the Group IT systems (T4P) and regulate demand, application management and service delivery.
• Responsibility for the on-site support
• Active support of the operational departments in the analysis and description of business processes and the creation of specialist concepts.
• Management of the design, creation of tender documents, evaluation and implementation of IT services and applications
• Responsibility for the cost planning and control of digitalization projects and systems, as well as for the management of suppliers and the control of external services.
• Leading support of the introduction of a new ERP system/goods management system and the associated transformation and professionalization of the process landscape
• Leadership, motivation and continuous development of a small team with dedicated, motivated and competent staff

Qualifications

Ideally you bring the following:

• Multiannual leadership and project experience in the IT environment
• Successfully completed studies in computer science, economic informatics, economic engineering or comparable qualifications
• Experience in the gastronomic environment is advantageous
• Your strong IT affinity combines with enthusiasm for innovative solutions and joy in cross-functional cooperation
• You draw through analytically conceptual strengths, communication skills, creativity and consistency, and master common IT tools (e.g. ERP, IT-Security, Saas, Cash and Payment System, etc.)
• You have the ability to fully consider IT strategy, technology and business processes and to develop pragmatic solutions
• English language skills
