Specialist in anesthesiology (m/f/d)

Your duties • Preanesthesiological speaking time/assessment (ASA assessment, evaluation of outpatient anesthesia) • Anesthesia planning for outpatient ophthalmological interventions (e.g. cataract, IVOM, Lid-/Tränenwegs-OPs, Strabism) • Implementation of Sedations /General Anesthesia incl. intraoperative monitoring • Postal anaesthesiological surveillance in the wake-up room, leaving criteria, communication with patients: • Enge interdisciplinary cooperation with surgeon:inside, surgical care, wake-up room, registration/premed team • Ensuring patient safety and quality/hygiene standards (checklists, WHO-Surgical Safety, CIRS) • Participation in standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Your profile Senior Consultant (m/w/d) • Very good knowledge of perioperative risk assessment, patient selection (outpatient suitability) and release management • routine in airway management and emergency algorithms; safe handling of rare but critical events • Communication strength and empathic handling of often older, multi-morbid patients:inside (anxiety, hearing/health impairment) • Structured, efficient operation in a clocked OP program (high case numbers, short change times) • Team orientation and interdisciplinary thinking; binding appearance in the OP • Language knowledge: German safe (patient clarification), other languages advantageous
