The Schwarz IT supports the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies of the Schwarz Group. It is therefore responsible for selecting, providing and operating as well as further developing IT infrastructures, IT platforms and business applications. In order to optimally support the departments through IT solutions in their business processes, the Schwarz IT takes up the requirements of the departments in consultations and works together with these professional and efficient IT solutions.

Your tasks

• Consultation and support of the divisions (including Lidl & Kaufland) with regard to the development of new innovative solutions for the checkout in the store business, with a focus on the optimization of card payment transactions and the integration of modern alternative payment methods (APMs)
• Own-sponsored further development of existing systems and acceptance of application responsibility for a complex payment solution in an international context
• Control of cross-departmental projects and the sovereign coordination of external partners and internal departments
• Planning and organisation of the international introduction of new software applications taking into account the specific hardware and software requirements
• Cooperation with international stakeholders and close exchange in a global team of experts

Your profile

• Successfully completed Bachelor's degree of (economic) informatics, business management or a comparable qualification
• Found professional experience in the context of card-based payment transactions, ideally with points of contact to the Point of Sale (POS)
• Detectable project experience, preferably in the dynamic commercial or financial environment
• Very good knowledge of current payment methods, debit/credit card processes, the protocols/interfaces used thereby in the processing of card-based payment methods
• Embossed analytical and conceptual skills to penetrate complex facts
• High enthusiasm for innovative IT topics and the willingness to take responsibility, advance standardization and advise the countries
• Safe, professional appearance and clear communication in dealing with international stakeholders *Expressed team capacity and joy in cooperation in an international environment
• German and good English skills
