In this role you can expect a varied mix of network operation, administration and practical implementation: Analysis, Configuration and Troubleshooting of Access LAN Infrastructure Installation and configuration of Cisco Access Switches Work on Command Line Interface (CLI) Ticket Care and Processing of Incidents and Requests in ServiceNow (SNOW) Network monitoring with CheckMK and Nagios Analysis and Fixing Network Disorders Licence management in the network environment Networking and Hardware Components in Server Rooms Conduction and testing of copper and glass fiber cabling Technical modernisation of existing infrastructure Occasional external operations at other locations – including independent approach

has a well-founded training or Qualification in the network environment and have already gained practical experience with Cisco infrastructures. This is important to us: CCNA certification or comparable qualification Good knowledge of Cisco C9000 series Knowledge found in Routing & Switching Knowledge of VoIP telephony Knowledge of IPv6, at least on the theoretical level Safe handling of network and hardware components driving licence class B A separate vehicle or the possibility to use it for occasional trips to external locations Very good knowledge of German in word and writing Personality In addition to your technical know-how, you convince yourself to work through your way and your dealing with people. The corresponding examination is initiated for the start of the project. An extended police certificate in official execution is required and must be available for project start. The use is 100% on site in Ilmenau. A remote share is not provided in this project. Due to the requirements of the project, the position is not suitable for short-term or cross-entry.
