Participation and implementation of the shopping and product group strategies incl. Achieving sustainability targets for all materials, services and after-sales, in particular in the field of civil engineering Support for the development of product group strategies and the implementation of savings initiatives as well as the pooling of purchasing volumes and the conclusion of framework agreements Ensuring the optimal security of supply of goods and services taking into account dates, quality and costs Responsible planning, organisation and execution of procurement processes as well as supplier management incl. Selection and evaluation of potential suppliers Advice and support of our operational departments in your care area for all shopping topics Evaluation of offers, compilation of price comparisons and negotiations and award decisions

Completed technical/commercial training, e.g. as an industrial businessman m/w/d with completed training (e.g. specialist for purchasing / businessman m/w/d) or completed studies (e.g. business management / logistics / economic engineering) Multiannual professional experience (> 3 years) required in strategic purchasing and experience in supply and energy management Very good understanding of common sourcing and procurement practices as well as basic knowledge of contract law (HGB, BGB, VOB) Ready for occasional service trips to suppliers and departments Self-working, “hands-on mentality” as well as strong customer orientation, service and technical understanding A safe occurrence with a healthy portion of self-confidence, paired with negotiation skills and enforcement ability
