Mechanic / welding worker as a superstructure welder

At the closest possible time, we are looking for you as a welder:in for track construction (w/m/d) for DB Bahnbau Group GmbH at the location Bremen, Halle (Saale), Hannover or Magdeburg as part of the assembly activity, with absences during use also overnight.

Your tasks:

• You are responsible for the constant maintenance of our rail network and our track systems
• You weld the rails, complete the gapless track and make the all-round package of DB Bahnbau Group GmbH perfect
• arc-hand welding, thermit welding work and cutting work are carried out independently after the completed courses
• With your colleague: you work outdoors, but also much at night (because the tracks are then operated less), and on weekends and holidays
• Dealing with state-of-the-art machines and a variety of building materials is your everyday work

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed your training in metal processing (e.g. as a metal manufacturer:in, Track builder:in, welding specialist:in or in a comparable profession)
• Ideally, you also bring professional and welding experience and are used to work on construction sites
• To achieve internal qualification, you bring commitment and readiness to learn
• The willingness to shiftwork (night, weekend and holiday work) as well as to work outdoors with, furthermore, you are ready to go to assembly for weeks (depending on construction site also over the weekend)
• You work reliably and like to work with your colleagues:
• You bring a valid class B driver's license, it would also be desirable to purchase the truck driver's license (C, C1, CE, C1E), alternatively the willingness to purchase it.
