Data Architect SAP - Financial Planning & Analytics (m/f/d)

For our SAP-based planning and analytics platform in the financial sector, we are looking for a Data Architect (m/w/d). You are responsible for the data architecture and data governance of our financial data platform with the core components SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere. In close cooperation with our enterprise and solution architects as well as external development partners, you define data models, integration architectures and quality standards for business-critical processes in accounting, controlling, finance and purchasing. You will support professional product teams in designing and providing reusable data products and AI-based applications.

You design and manage the end-to-end data architecture in SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud - from data integration to semantic modeling to analytical applications, data products and AI agencies You define technical standards for data products, design the data base for AI-based applications, support product teams in the design of domain-specific data models and control external development partners in the implementation You establish and monitor data governance frameworks, define master data management strategies, data quality rules and data lineage concepts for the entire SAP Analytics platform and associated data products You design data integration scatters between source systems, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud, define ETL/ELT standards and optimize data pipelines for scalability and wartability You evaluate new data management features of the SAP Business Data Cloud incl. AI functions, develop the strategic data roadmap in coordination with the SAP architects and advise product teams on architectural issues

You have profound experience in data architecture and data modeling, ideally with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud in the context of SAP Business Data Cloud - SAP BW knowledge are beneficial You master modern data modeling approaches (Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, semantic layers), SQL and ideally SQLScript, and understand the principles of scalable data architectures and data product approaches You bring experience in the definition of data governance structures, control of implementation partners and cooperation with cross-functional product teams with You have a deep understanding of financial data structures and can transfer complex technical requirements into clean, consistent data architectures and reusable data products You communicate safely in German and English, work independently and collaboratively with Enterprise/Solution Architects and product teams and have a high level of data quality and consistency
