The Corporate IT (CIT) of Carl Zeiss AG is responsible for IT for all business areas of ZEISS. The diversity of the ZEISS portfolio has an exciting complexity. This is why we are looking for a System Engineer Cloud & Platform Services (m/w/x). Your role You will be part of an operating team in the ZEISS Group function IT, which is responsible for ensuring the operation of central or networked IT systems.

The focus of your task is the processing of faults and user requests in the Virtuell Desktop Infrastructure area as well as for cloud solutions - in particular AWS.

You are responsible for the smooth operation of the VDI environment and the AWS cloud solution.

Editing standard requests regarding the Platform (VDI) and Cloud Services is one of your tasks.

You support users and specialist departments in troubleshooting.

You ensure the operation of the virtual desktop as well as cloud solution while maintaining the valid SLA's.

In this context, you work with the operating support teams within the entire ZEISS Group.

In addition, you will actively participate in IT projects in planning, implementation and rollout.

Successfully completed training as a specialist in system integration or similar and ideally experience in system support of various IT infrastructures such as servers

Knowledge in operation of the current server and client operating systems

Knowledge and experience in the operation of AWS Cloud

Ideally basic knowledge of automation solutions (such as terraform)

High customer-oriented thinking and working methods, strong support understanding and organizational ability

A safe occurrence and associated own initiative

Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
