Number: MER0003J3J In research at Mercedes-Benz we develop innovative future concepts, technologies and materials. Together with world-leading experts, we are working on the latest developments in interior, exterior, digitalization, smart materials, 3D printing and new E/E technologies. Our goal is to integrate process and product innovations and to ensure their applicability for the digitized future. As a team 'Future Interior' we explore and develop the interior of the future. In the development of innovative concepts and systems, we work together as an interdisciplinary team from various disciplines such as engineering, psychology and sports sciences. The spectrum of topics includes all aspects of the interior of the future, from room concepts to comfort functions to light and audio topics as well as display concepts. The aim of the internship is to support ongoing projects in the ''Future Interior'' team and to process their own project projects. The main focus will be on the concept design for interior components. With the support of our team, solution ideas are generated, concepts are developed, designed in CAD models in Siemens NX and first prototypes are built up. It offers the opportunity to work with a variety of exciting projects of interior components through audio systems and displays and to contribute to the interior of the future. Activities during the internship include: Working with the design of new interior components for vehicles of the future Building space tests and concept constructions in Siemens NX Working with projects from the first idea to prototype production Coordination talks with the project interfaces Trend and technology research

Studies in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, industrial design or a comparable degree course Knowledge of CAD software, preferably Siemens NX Interest in the development of interior components and systems Ability to interdisciplinary cooperation Creativity and Innovation Good communication skills and team skills Self-employed and structured work Interest in trend and technology research First experiences in prototype construction are advantageous Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
