Pedagogical specialist as group leader (m/f/d)

For our outpatiently supervised intercultural living in Rendsburg, we are looking for a pedagogical specialist as a group manager in parttime with 20 hours a week with the option of an increase. The body is limited to one year. Long-term cooperation with subsequent determination will be sought.

You take responsibility for our existing team and actively shape the further development of our offer. We currently accompany male young adults of German origin as well as male unaccompanied minors (umA) from 16 years. In future, the offer will also be extended to female young adults.

Your tasks

Guidance & organisation: You take over the leadership of the team and are responsible, among other things, for service planning and cash management. In doing so, you're looking for clear structures and good cooperation in the team.

Pedagogical work: You accompany young people individually and culturally sensitive in their everyday life and their free time. For example, you support them in the event of appointments, doctor visits, crisis and conflict situations and promote their independence.

Network & Cooperation: You work with offices and authorities as well as with therapists, doctors, schools and language and cultural mediators. You coordinate the different support offers and ensure good networking.

Construction & development: You actively shape the further development of our offer. These include the expansion of the existing team, the acquisition of housing and clients, and the planned expansion of the offer for young women.

Sharing: You'll be ready to call the night and the weekend.

Safety: A remuneration in accordance with the Kirchliche Tariff Contract Diakonie (KTD) in the ES 8 to ES 10 levels – depending on your qualification as well as a employer-funded occupational pension scheme, special fees in the form of holiday and Christmas money and 30 days of holiday (at a 5-day week) give you safety.

Your profile

Qualification: You have a completed training as an educator or a completed study of social education or a comparable qualification.

Experience: You have experiences in child and youth assistance and work with unaccompanied minor aliens (umA).

Quality: You have a class B license and good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.

Personality: You are collaborative and team-ready, work flexibly and resiliently and can organize your tasks independently. A safe occurrence and an appropriate and professional approach to offices and authorities are yours.

Pedagogical understanding: You are interested in culturally sensitive work and you are delighted to accompany and promote young people with different cultural backgrounds.
