We are the rulers of the article master files in the REWE Group. With the management and distribution of product master files, we fire all processes in retail. Our data can be found in almost any system, in any database, on any display mask and in any Excel table. You are also the recipient of our data – on every label in the market or on the article packaging. These are accessible from the source system via various interfaces that we are responsible for, developing, releasing and modernizing.

Tasks that keep you posted: As a business engineer, in cooperation with the Product Owner and the cross-functionally occupied product team, you can expect an exciting environment and diverse challenges: Your expertise is in demand: you analyze and unfold data models together with the team. You can also design our master data platform when designing and designing. You write User Stories for the implementation, introduce them to the team and accompany the implementation. You take full responsibility: You accompany the implementation of the User Stories, take the test and ensure smooth commissioning. You understand yourself as a consultant: In terms of requirements and business processes, you are in close contact with the Product Owner and the departments. You work in an agile environment: by working solutions in the cross-functional team and actively introducing ideas and optimization opportunities. You ensure the operation of the product: by creating application documentation, cultivating all the necessary users in the operation of the product and entering 3rd level support.

You have successfully completed a degree in (economic) informatics, economics or a comparable degree course with a high technical understanding. You bring professional experience in the described topic as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality. Ideally, you are familiar with master data management systems such as STIBO Systems MDM and SAP for Retail as well as interface technologies such as Kafka and JSON. Or you want to learn something about it. You don't let Source Code scare you (ideally JavaScript). You can read, understand and debugging source code. Communication with stakeholders as well as constructive professional discussions in the team will give you pleasure. We want to constantly evolve and encourage everyone to introduce their ideas.
