Communications Officer

You write speeches, greetings and forewords for the Mayor and the associates and prepare relevant topics and content in a targeted manner for this purpose You actively shape the press and public relations work, write press releases and contributions to our Official Journal You answer press requests on selected topics in close coordination with the administration and prepare press conferences as well as media appointments and accompany them You test and evaluate the media coverage, arrange up-to-date topics and advise the urban areas with the aim of citizen-oriented communication You accompany the procedures for honors and awards – from the examination of incoming proposals to the organizational preparation of the awards

a completed university study of communication, language and media sciences or a comparable discipline, preferably with journalistic training (Volontariat) multiannual professional experience in the context of public or corporate communication, editorial or agency Expertise in and strong interest in political processes at the level of the municipality and the country are very text-proof, is highly communication-oriented and understands to prepare complex topics in a targeted and comprehensible manner are ready for use, especially in the evening and more rarely on weekends
