As a scientific employee in the system measurement technology, you will develop complex measurement technology systems and processes for the assembly, adjustment & acceptance of ultra-precision optical systems for the semiconductor industry in in interdisciplinary development teams and accompany their introduction to the production. And you will Completely design measuring systems for such systems, derive specifications and budgets for subsystems

Develop and optimize measurement, evaluation, calibration and simulation algorithms as well as related software tools

develop, carry out and evaluate experimental and theoretical investigations into the measuring accuracy of the systems and the verification of new measuring techniques, components and modules

perform fault analyses of plants transferred to production, identify possibilities for optimization and accompany their implementation scientifically

maintain and control a variety of internal interfaces as well as external partners within the scope of the above-mentioned tasks

take over the management of a small specialist team for (partial) projects in the field of special machine construction with measuring technology focus

They have a very good scientific/technical degree with a focus on physics, optoelectronics, techn. Optics or a comparable qualification, preferably with professional experience or promotion

very good knowledge of technical optics and a good understanding of the function and interaction of complex components of optics, mechanics, electronics and sensor technology

Experience in the development of innovative algorithms for simulation & data analysis, with well-founded programming skills, preferably in MATLAB

an independent, structured way of working, distinct communicative and organizational skills and a high level of teamwork

very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
